ZingBikes backs British Superbikes hopeful

ZingBikes are very happy to announce that Blake Woulds, the company's sponsored rider, has earned a role in the British Superbike Championship.

Blake has earned the 'wildcard' ride at in the Triumph Triple Challenge at the Donington Park event this September.

The event marks the 19-year-old's first opportunity to test his skills against riders of this calibre. The challenge is tasked with finding and developing aspiring talent and is recognised as a key platform to the prestigious British Superbike Championships - one of the most competitive national motorcycle series in the world.

Blake, from Bourne in Lincolnshire, has been sponsored by ZingBikes since 2011. He has previously competed in the Moto 450 competition class of the Thundersport GB championship

After having his sponsorship recently continued, Blake has also confirmed that he will be testing the Triumph 675 at ZingBikes' first ever track day in August. This event, to be held at Leicestershire's Mallory Park circuit, will offer 120 keen motorcyclists the chance to ride the track and raise valuable funds for the injured soldiers' charity Help for Heroes.

ZingBikes Track Day in aid of Help For Heroes

Join us on August 17th for a Track Day with a difference. All profits from this event are going straight to Help for Heroes, who supply practical, direct help and support to our current wounded servicemen and women.

The Track Day is hosted by ZingBikes and organised by No Limits, the renowned Track Day specialists. The cost per person is £125.00, but what a day you'll get!

No Limits offer a session of instruction on the Trackday. Their experienced instructors are fully trained to give you advice on your riding whether you are in the Novice group and new to riding, in the Intermediate group and want to improve your lines or in the Fast group and just want to go faster! Just see their instructors on the day and book your free session. Alternatively a full day's one to one instruction is available at the additional cost of £120. This can organised when you book your place on the trackday. Call the No Limits office on 01727 899173.

Three Shineray models, the Super Moto, MX Race 250cc and Enduro Sport, are on their way and we have been busy taking advance orders following the terrific reviews in both Motorcycle News and TrailBike Magazine of the Enduro which was put through its paces by both publications recently. Dan Aspel of Motorcycle News gave the Enduro a brilliant 4 star rating while TrailBike and Enduro Magazine said “I was genuinely surprised by this bike, not only by it’s abilities on and off road, but also by its construction and specification. Blades Motorcycles Annual Charity Fundraiser 9th July 2011

Blades Motorcycles, our dealer in Great Staughton, are holding their Annual Charity Fund Raiser on 9th July 2011 at their premises at Brook Farm, The Highway, Great Staughton, Cambs, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support and Help for Heroes. Face painting, bouncy castle, trade stalls, Harley Davidson rides classic cars and bikes, raffle, licensed bar and hot food, plus live music from 7pm from Red Sox and Razorback. £2 entry fee after 6pm. Gas Moto take ZingBikes Shineray and Lifan range to Castle Camps Fifth Bike Show 26th June 2011

Haverhill dealer Gas Moto took the Shineray Supermoto and Enduro and Lifan Monkey, Apollo, Mirage and Jet to the Castle Camps Bike Show on Saturday 26th June 2011. ZingBikes Dealer Hamiltons supports Breast Way Round May 2011

Hamiltons Motorbikes were at the finish line of Breast Way Round 2011 in Glasgow to greet 100 women bikers who rode around the West of Scotland from 27-30th June 2011 to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. Zing made sure that Hamiltons had plenty of promotional goodies to give away and there was lots of interest in the Aero which Hamiltons had on display.

The team had a very successful 3 day show for 2011 at the NEC in Birmingham with lots of interest in the range. It was a great opportunity to show off our range and to launch the new range of marketing material including a striking new logo to trade visitors. The modified Monkey bike was the star of the stand, attracting lots of visitors.

2010

ZingBikes Complete Sponsorship Deal – Dec 2010

ZingBikes have branched out into sports sponsorship and have launched ZingBikes Aprilia Racing. Eighteen year old Blake Woulds, an emerging new star on the Thundersport GB Circuit, has been selected to wear the Zing colours throughout 2011. Blake, who rides an Aprilia 450 in the Moto 450 competition class, will be competing in over 30 races throughout the UK and ZingbIkes will be supporting Blake with a blog and regular facebook and twitter updates.

Zing Rally 2010!

Biker Mate

A partner company to ZingBikes, Euro Road Safety has developed a motorcyle safey system: Biker Mate. Biker Mate is an energy absorbing cushion designed to protect a biker upon impact with a Lattix mast or sign post. The system is currently being trialed in Co. Durham and is expected to be installed in further locations soon.

Zing Bikes at the Peterborough BMF Show

ZingBikes had a successful weekend at the BMF Show 2009 even though the weather was poor. The show, which took place at the East of England Showground, Peterborough on 16th and 17th May, may have seen a lower turn out than in recent years, but atmosphere was not affected.

As always, the Zing Vogue received a lot of attention from the crowds, with the Blaze and Mirage proving most popular over the weekend. Test rides at ZingBikes' Huntingdon headquarters have been arranged for after the show and the ZingBikes team ended the day with a sale of a Zing Mirage.

ZingBikes Showroom Grand Opening!
31^st January 2009 - 1^st February 2009

On Saturday the 31st January, ZingBikes will be opening its first showroom in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. The premises, featuring a spares and repairs department, a full range of clothing including a sample of the Frank Thomas 2009 collection, and spacious showroom featuring our vehicles, will be officially opened at 2pm by local MP, Jonathan Djanogly.

To celebrate this, the Zing team are holding a grand opening weekend from 10am til 4pm on Sat 31st & Sunday 1st February. The event will include test rides, kids activities, a charity prize draw (all proceeds donated to Magpas), burger van and of course, VIP entry consisting of Bucks Fizz reception.

The location can be found just off the A14, Huntingdon. We hope to see you and your bikes there!
